Hi
My practice with Falcon and Bristol. The video includes the challenge sequence too.
The rear cross was the hardest with Falcon and I left in a try where he doesn’t read my RC. Maybe you can help me with my handling on that one.
I haven’t taught Falcon a backside with a verbal yet so I tried different ways of getting him to the back just to see if I can use what he might understand now. It needs a lot of work. 🙂

Here are our attempts for set 1. The 1st blind cross attempt with a Jaako was a knocked bar. It hasn’t escaped me that the last 2 knocked bars in competition were both in November on grass while trying to get tight turns. The judge actually commented on it afterwards as that having been the cause for both. The bar stayed up when I retried BC+Jaako on the 5th and final rep, but by then she knew what was coming next. Thanks.

Thank you for the awesome feedback and you just answered a question regarding the young guy. I couldn’t put my finger on why he slows down sometimes. Love your observation…I saw exactly what you pointed out regarding him slowing down when I’m not in motion. I will definitely start going in more to create more motion from me. Thank you!

Are you going to nac?
No, we won’t be going to Tulsa. I’ve decided to work on qualifying for Invitationals instead (we are currently 3rd in the Beardie standings and not far away from second). We show against the lovely Golden who won the 20″ Invitationals class this year very frequently and Tru beats her about half the time in JWW. If I can put faster contacts on him, I think we would have a real chance to make Invitational finals which I just don’t see happening at NAC.
Sad I won’t see you in person – but that sounds like a brilliant plan for you two!
