Before and After:
2020 Masters Agility Championship at Westminster
I like to hear the analysis of the course map and then hear the post analysis of how the plan changed based on the elements as presented on the actual course. I think course strategy is the most challenging thing about agility, and hearing from handlers who do this at a high level "coaches" me on how to do it at a local trial. –Deb A.

What Will This Course Help You Do?
Jennifer Crank will run sheltie Swift (2018 FCI Agility World Championship Silver Medalist) and border collie P!nk (2018 & 2019 Westminster Winner, 2018 AKC Nationals Winner, 2019 Grand Prix Winner). Sarah Baker will run border collie Hops, a 2015, 2016, and 2019 AKC Nationals Winner and 2019 World Team Member.
Jennifer and Sarah will analyze both preliminary rounds of the 2020 Masters Agility Championship at Westminster before they run it. As soon as they finish their runs, they will immediately analyze them in the Coach's Eye, using slow motion, zoom, and other tools to show you exactly what happened with an emphasis on their cues, including position, motion, and timing.
In this course, you will be able to ask Jennifer and Sarah questions!

I found it very interesting that very experienced agility handlers sometimes differed on how they would execute a particular obstacle. I liked the fact they explained the reason why they made their decision.

Sometimes, when you see a course on paper, you can make a decision on how you want to handle it BUT when you walk the course, it is a bit different and you can change your handling plan. Looking at it afterwards, you can see whether you were right in your evaluation. Before and after is very important.

You have to sign up--you will learn so much!. My training partners and I are not nearly at this level, but the beauty is that whatever level you are----there are multi lessons to be learned. Whether it's a new handling skill, course strategy, running with intention or good sportsmanship--If we aspire to be better we need to have role models who help to inspire us. If we watch and emulate the most skilled performances we will grow in our skills and knowledge.
