If I want to speak to a specific instructor about a particular topic, how does that work?

    • Sarah Fernandezlopez says:

You would email the vip email address (vip@baddogagility.com) and just address the email to the coach you would like to look at it. Like starting with “hey Sarah, blah blah blah”.

      Does that work for you?

The box is monitored by Sarah Fernandezlopez, Esteban Fernandezlopez, and Jenn Crank. Plus our Virtual Assistent who is not involved in dog sports.

Thank you for all of this helpful information!

Sarah: Just a quick question when getting feedback on the Website versus other methods. Right now, I know to check a notification box to notify me when someone comments on my post or any post in that section. For instance I started some dialogue on start lines in “Lessons with Lux” in the very first video. I got some great feedback already, but now I have to remember to navigate all the way to that particular lesson if I want to post an update with my progress or rewatch the feedback. The only way I could think of was to bookmark that particular location. Is there a search method where I can pull up my past comments?

  • Sandy Boyko says:

This might be silly but why don’t I have a pic with my comment, I DO have the pic showing in my profile as SandyBoyko, but it does not show up when I comment????

    • Sarah Fernandezlopez says:

That’s a good question! I would expect it to show. Maybe it updates once a day or something. I’ll look into it!

    • Sarah Fernandezlopez says:

I’ve messaged support for the comments application that I use to see if I can fix this. The short answer is that by default, it uses Gravatar for images. This is kindof a global profile picture service where you set a profile picture in one place and it’s used all over the web (by anyone who supports it – which is a lot of sites). It’s very common in technical circles, but I knew agility few agility people would be familiar with it, so I added the ability to upload your own profile picture directly here. I’m looking into getting the comments to honor that profile picture!

I would go ahead and finish the orientation and then start the technology for agility course from the beginning.

    https://baddogagilityacademy.com/course/technology-for-agility/module-1/technology-covered-in-this-course/

I am also going to add a lesson to the end of this orientation that prompts people to go to the Technology course next.

    Hear you loud and clear!

Hi Sarah – I just want to say that I really appreciate the very clean interface you have here. Years ago I was an early-adopter of online teaching (college level Literature and Composition, not dog agility!), and I know how much effort goes into creating, maintaining, and improving an online presence that really works for students, particularly now when there are so many bells & whistles available. A simple user-friendly interface is so very complicated to create. Thanks!
