In fact, I just reviewed this article and it was the identical mistake! A 180 when I wanted a threadle.

Excellent I can do that threadle stuff in the backyard. My friend thought the FC might show too much decel for a wee dog. (Every 1/100 of a second counts – well it does for her…). On a turn that tight it didn’t make a difference but on a wider turn that didn’t need as much decel it might. But good to know my BCs are fast enough when do I deploy them.
Timing is always a good thing!
This time I have videod Isla. My first agility dog who I made all the mistakes with. 😞 She gets stressy and I pick and choose when I run her – depending on location and sometimes on the day course dependent. She’s steady but not fast. I try to put in lots of blinds to keep her momentum going! I find it hard flipping between her and Robbie as they are so different.

On this course, Patt had trouble with #7 but I did get a clean run of it eventually.
I included Enzo for completeness but…. He was very, very wide from 4 to 5 and I really didn’t have a good solution. He turned out of the tunnel nicely but then shot out over 4 even when I hardly moved at all. Including the time he took the off course tunnel (off the map to the right). I got a lovely turn 6-7-8 however.
Well, I just reviewed all of the runs and I don’t think any of them gave me a nice turn from 4 to 5. But maybe not too much worse than your demo dog…?
