I set up and ran this course in my yard with both my Master level dog and my baby dog who has never been shown. Because my dogs outrun me (badly!), I approached the A-frame dog on left, and rear crossed on the take off side of 6. I rear crossed on the landing side of 8 because I needed to send to the tunnel, staying on the outside of jump 8, and then immediately ran to get up the line and in position to rear cross on the take off side of 13 for dog on right to 13-14-15. This put me in a good position to front as my dogs exited the poles and finish the last pin wheel. Plan worked well for me with both dogs.

Glad that you were able to set this up. Always nice to give it a try for those that have the space and equipment. I really like the rear cross at 13. Definitely puts you in a better position for the section after that.

    C
ould you possibly completely stay out of the area from 7-11?

    • Jennifer Crank says:

What exactly do you mean? If you did dog on right from 6-7 and then a takeoff rear on #8 before heading downstream to 10-11, that would keep you away from the tunnel and possibly out of the corner.
