Here are links to videos of the 3 handling options. I got a wider turn with my front cross (option 3) with Tipody than I did with Switch so I included the video of Tipody to get feedback on timing of my front cross which I think was a little late (she did not get the turning cue fast enough, I think).

I was limited on time when we ran this set, so no Hula this time. It felt like I got the cleanest lines for both boys with the blind 3-4 option. Dizzy’s trial speed is much faster than this and I don’t know that I would be able to make that blind in a trial, so my preferred handling for him would probably be the decel-serp option with the rear as a back up.

Here’s Jake’s attempt. I thought the RC option worked really well considering it would be our last choice to actually run in a trial. What do you think about the challenge being run with a BC between 3 – 4? It was the first way I thought to run it & how I would probably do it at a trial. https://youtu.be/vtV7waycxzo

Here’s Jake and Juno. Thanks ahead for your feedback! I also tried the L vs R wrap at #5 for the nested. The L wrap created a much better line from 6 to7 and getting 1 vs 2 strides. I also tried a reverse spin at 3 with Jake. I think it created a better line to 4?

Here are my girls videos of these sequences and the challenge. I ended up turning them to the left in the challenge course vs a right turn as I thought it set them up for a nicer finish line with their stride. Looking forward to your feedback, thanks!

Truman and I are getting ready for our first trial weekend entirely in Excellent in a couple of days, so these exercises were a really good tune-up. Thanks! I built and ran the entire course because I wanted to try the exercises in context. Although I could manage all of the small space options, I liked the serp the best, probably because I decided that was my go-to handling method before watching your video (LOL) and it worked well with my distance handling of 6-8. It was surprisingly hard for me to get jump 15 on the course (the jump immediately after the practice sequence) so anything that put me behind, like the rear cross was definitely a non-starter.
