I had a tough time with my youngster red bc had to help him out. My white heeler initially only saw the end of the tunnel and freight trained down the line 😳 but started listening and the dark heeler was ok running like a bunny today. It was another cold day 🥶 here in WY.

Please yes I don’t have a threadle cue besides calling to me and slicing would really appreciate more advice to what body maneuver i can give the threadle so i can train it. Thank you, it is our weakness
Do you have a particular system that you follow? Like Shape Up, or Susan Garrett, or Linda Mecklinburg, or Greg Derrett?
The Bad Dog Agility coaches all have been influenced most by Shape Up when it comes to threadle handling. I don’t have any training videos for the threadle, but I do have some demos and practice sequences:

I really enjoyed these courses and so did the boys! We didn’t have any issues. I do have a question about the #2 threadle. I think I was standing back too far from the jump which would give my boys more space to run and waste time. I think I need to be closer to the jump…. right?

I would have never guessed it, that was beautifully executed.
Was able to sneak this set in quick after work…first attempts and a few repeats afterwards. Didn’t make it through all the exercises with Pandora but included what we did make it through 🙂 looking forward to your feedback, thanks!!

Thank you! These are always SO helpful! I will definitely try the decel first then front cross with Claire I think that will work better than what I’ve been trying! I also need to work on using decel to my advantage as much as possible, I tend to rush when I don’t really need to and would be better off waiting a bit longer. Always more to work on especially with the baby dog 🙂
