Unfortunately, the rainy weather and trials have kept us from working. So today before the Frigid Weather hits us on Thursday night we trained. These were not as smooth as I would like. When making the videos, I found myself stopping and watching when sending for the wraps on #5. Also on the rear cross at #5 felt awkward and I did not think the boys read it very well. Turning my dogs away from me on a wrap seems difficult. My verbals for wrapping the left wing is a Dig Dig and wrapping the right wing is a check check. Also we forgot to video the Challenge exercises. )-: Psychic is down with an injury so he is benched.

Here are our first attempts of these exercises. I got a bit confused with Claire on exercise 3 of the regular sequence when getting ready to turn to the right 🙈 I was very late with my right turn cue on the first challenge sequence with Carat and on the second one she decided to continue on and take an off screen tunnel instead of turning left 🤪 Pandora was very tempted to cut behind me when turning right in exercise 3 so we’ll definitely be working on that! Thank you! I tend to be a bit late on my front crosses, especially with Claire…I need to trust her more and drive ahead to get the cross in! Easier said than done but I’m working on it lol
I was very surprised with Carat when she took the off course tunnel as she typically listens well but every dog gets a bonus tunnel now and then 🙂
