When I looked at the map before watching the runs, I also thought I would have done the same handling you decided on after the dog walk. Then I watched the first few runs that did different handling and sort of also realized “omg, that is a long distance!” and could see why they chose a different alternative.

But watching your run, I swear you got SO FAR ahead you actually had to EVER SO slightly slow down for your dog on the dog walk to catch up LOL, and the camera operator says “beautiful!” – it was def a chef’s kiss moment – glad I got to see it!
