Just a little late, but feeling like training my boys. Most of these ran really well however, I’m not fond of the wide turns to the tunnel. Not sure what happened to Exercise 1 with Vibe but only have part of it. I know I was not happy with the wide turn to the tunnel.

Loved your last feed back it made so much sense! Thanks for all your help!!

Ricochet. She really enjoyed this sequence, which she expressed in her own unique way in the middle of the session 😂

Here is our video. I realize that I have the hardest time with timing on rear crosses. Your feedback is appreciated!!

Well… We didn’t get much past 4. But It’s good to find some dirty great big holes in your training to fill, right!? haha — also, I know what I’m putting into some of my courses next time I’m judging. LOL! https://youtu.be/3Hfm62xFJyY

Here is Truman’s work on these exercises. Thanks for including the course the sequence was taken from…additional excellent practice! I tried to do the exercises as in your demos. But I found that going in close to the tunnel, no matter what cross I used, was so unlike my normal practice with Truman that, when I found myself there I couldn’t remember where to go next. I kept at it until I could make myself do it as good mental practice against human patterning but I doubt these are strategies I would use at a trial. When I built the full course, I found that RC after the dog walk on the landing side of #3 gave me the most flexibility to get downstream to control 5-9 (I changed the triple to the broad jump and replaced the table with a jump to make it more Invitational-like; you can’t see 12-13 and 18 in the video). Thanks in advance for your comments. Planning to leave for Orlando a week from tomorrow!

Thank you so much! I’ll keep the handling advice to a tunnel in mind. I’ll also work on your advice for driving through tunnels starting this week.

This course has been an excellent investment for me. I can see so much improvement in our trial runs and especially my confidence in us as a team. We actually had our fastest JWW run ever at the last trial and our 2 fastest standard runs ever this weekend. I’m just a novice and it’s been tough the last few months training on my own but y’all have helped me immensely to prepare the best I can.

Can’t wait for NAC prep course!

Hi Dennis! I am SOOO happy to hear this! Is it ok if I use this middle paragraph as a testimonial for future prep courses? I would sign it “Dennis K”, or could be just “Dennis”

Here’s Jake’s attempt. On the challenge I threw in the broad jump at the beginning because it seems to always be included somewhere at the Invitational. https://youtu.be/JZnZPPRGhqQ?si=lEEz75qgt_haBXji

  • Dennis Kirkpatrick says:

I felt like this went ok except for the fact he never really drove to the tunnel. I must need to handle that turn differently, but I’m not sure how. I know you’ll let me know. On the challenge I think he thought we were going to the weaves because they were so close but he pulled it off.
