Hello Jennifer!
Congratulations again to you and Bee at the EO!! 🙂
I combined Lesson 1 & 2 here as well. On Lesson 2 the video cut out twice (I guess due to the heat), so funny angle as I had to place the phone in the shade. Then I only had Maverick do one try each and lowered the bars to make things easier for the redo.
Thank you!
Melanie
WOW…those backsides are incredible! Nice work!!

Thank you so much for your time and wisdom! We’ll keep working 🙂

I signed up for this Module knowing I would initially have weather challenges for working on the exercises.
Here we are, finally able to get outside and practice.
I combined the FC, RC, and BC exercises all in one video.
Thank you!
Looking good!!

For the folks limited on time and energy, Heather Dickinson is the finals judge.
I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think that is the only course she is designing. There are more courses than judges so a few will have to do multiple courses.
This includes both the exercises and challenge. I preferred the front, but he runs faster at big events. On the JWW course at NAC last year, I couldn’t get there for the front so I ended up doing a rear followed by a front and we ended up taking the last bar. (Here is that video if that’s allowed, that course starts at 1:42 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROuDEGOf77M)
What a lovely run from NAC last year. Bummer about the bar. I took a look at that part of the course and I don’t think the bar had anything to do with the handling of the corner. You fell behind and Dizzy added a stride and head checked back.

Thank you! How did you know I still beat myself up over that bar? 🤣 We actually had straightaway finishes at our trial this weekend, so we got to test our ‘gogogo’. I am very excited to report that it was successful! A much better memory of that skill to head into NAC with 😊
For some reason the tutorial videos for this section wouldn’t play so I watch some of the videos people posted and tried to figure out the exercises.
This is Skye he is a 1.5 yr old GR. So we are working on our skills still. His and mine 😃 He will end up in the 24″ class but I did these exercises at 20″
I think the first video I wasted time waiting for him at the second 2 last jump. was trying to work on the rear there but maybe I should have just kept moving instead????
The last video I think I pushed in on his line and he took out the Stanton.

The Rooster’s videos for set 2. The Rooster is my husband’s teammate. Greg has had a knee injury but he was able to do a little practice today.

Those front crosses look pretty good considering a recent knee injury. More incentive to do the blind cross options. Hehe

Thanks, Jennifer! This is Greg’s first ‘online course’! I think it’s going to help a lot for him to get feedback (that’s not from his wife!! LOL)!
Trust me, I get it. My son has to take lessons from someone else because he don’t want to listen to mom! 😉 Hehe

I am always a little hesitant to try blinds at trials but it was the fastest run for Tribbie in this exercise. I may need to work on my confidence at trials in the future.
I’m really glad the blind cross was faster as it reinforces you to try more of them 🙂

Thanks for the feedback, Jennifer! Just trialed this weekend and I practiced blind crosses! The majority of them went pretty well. There was only one that I thought I cued in plenty of time but Tribute drifted wide behind me. I had my eye on him so we survived it but I we will need to keep working on the timing of the blind cross!
Hello! I worked my 3 year old boy Falcon on the options. I left in a miss with the BC – I think he came to my right side because I lost connection and had my right arm out. I would love your take. The RC was the hardest for us. I ran my 10 year old girl Bristol on the nested sequence.
Sorry about the barking. Will adjust where they are next time. I left volume on because you can hear my commands a bit over the noise.

No need to apologize for the barking – remember, I’m a sheltie person 😜
Tons of great stuff here, especially the FCs.
