just curious – did you have an extra jump off camera between jump 7 and 8? Seems like the dog took a jump off camera.
Also just FYI, the video seems to cut you off at the end before you finished your comment.
There was no jump between 7 and 8, the dog just had a bit of a wide turn there and also a pretty big ETO (early take off).
The cut off is so bizarre! I found the original analysis on OnForm and found the final sentence. I exported again and again the last phrase was cut off. So I had to screen capture in the OnForm app to get the final sentence!
It should be updated now, but the full sentence was: “but you can see that maybe the blind cross through the middle in the opening is giving a little bit of an edge compared to the rear cross”
TY!
Here’s our attempts at the fun Nested Challenge. Kimchi is a young novice dog. I left in the blooper when I push him off #4 during the RC because that happened several times in the regular lesson 2 during RCs… Also, you can’t see in the video, but I have a set of 12 weave poles after 7 so we just incorporated that 😉 otherwise I couldn’t get him from 7 to 8 as you can see because he can’t really drive out enough to get to 8. I’ll try again moving the weaves if not raining tomorrow LOL! He’s not reading the turn from 6 to 7 as well as I’d like, looks like I’m not turning my shoulders/feet early enough?? Maybe I need to take another step in and rotate sooner to set a better line to 7…? Thank you for your help and suggestions! https://youtu.be/dNkX1Yn7afU
Great job! Feedback here: https://link.getonform.com/view?id=yUECgR5uhOU7UHp7IzA9
Oh my gosh, I went back and watched the demo- I sent Frankie to the wrong side of #8!! One time he took the jump the correct way (I am sure my position cued that) and I even thought that was a better line!! What a goofball I am
It’s no big deal. 🙂
Thanks, I submitted our video in previous post 🙂
Team Frankie.. we did this exercise numerous times. Hopefully I had the course set correctly. ( one of my challenges!) I also have an injured left foot so might look a little wonky on these attempts!

Your foot looked great! The blind was faster than the rear: https://link.getonform.com/view?id=cvIIF8UU9Mm6VgeDUlGi

It seemed that she always ran wide from 7 to 8 but it appeared that your dog did the same. I practiced a few different ways with the FX between 6&7 to change the approach to 7 but nothing really helped that wide line
Great job! To respond to your comments about 7-8, I think that spot is normal given what the dog is seeing, and just about every similar dog will run that way there.
The blind was a little better than the rear for you: https://link.getonform.com/view?id=RPMws4DY92QWL3xrdlLg
