A real “question”: what about a spin at 19?
[I’m thinking a definition might be in order. I mean, with dog-on-left, send to 19 as part of a spin towards the dog, finishing with dog-on-left as you run out.]
Hi Esteban.
You gave me a bit of a giggle when you said (approx.): “…you’ve been working on this in the prep course so it won’t be a challenge to you…”.
I wish I learned everything like that, didn’t forget and had it available at my fingertips. Alas, the things that we are (and remain) fluent in is not ever expanding. 😉
Great analysis; thanks!
This course looked like it would be fun to run so I set it up in my field. It felt “big” even though the course footprint isn’t all that large,,, probably because most of the jumps are taken multiple times. I had to leave Tru to do the poles on his own so that I could get up to handle 9-12. Then he was on his own again for 12-16 so I could handle the threadle at 17. Will be interesting to see what this judge offers at Nationals.
Great observation about the footprint and taking jumps multiple times. Only 2 jumps that are taken once! And they were both specialty jumps. 4 jumps taken twice and one jump taken 4 times!
Credit that observation to Jennifer who emphasizes it in her course analyses. It’s become a habit to look for it now.
