Did you keep skeptic in the crate if you were not training him or did you allow him to roam free within the house? The purpose of asking is due to the potty training aspect.
If we could not 100 percent watch Skeptic, we put him in a crate, xpen, or on a tie down. This was for potty training and to prevent eating everything ; ) Most of my other pups had more freedom than him though non have complete freedom in the beginning.

I picked up my mini-poodle puppy in MN, and flew to VA to connect with my 89 year old mother, spending time in each state working with and socializing the pup. Then we drove to Maine, and spent a week there visiting relatives. I’ve been following your training program, and everyone who meets this pup comments on how smart, friendly and connected she is. Now we’re heading home to meet my older dogs.;) Thanks for this thorough program.
