so this was in a different space than Bee’s run? I noticed that the weave poles were SUPER hard to see – dark blue against a dark background there – versus these which were very easy to see. Is that something that can be requested changed before runs start?
The same course is set up in many different arenas on the same site. All dogs of one height will (generally) run in the same ring, to keep it fair. But there can be slight differences in the exact layout. Or the dirt. Etc.
In Tulsa, there was always one infamous ring that was more compressed. It would favor rear crosses as there wasn’t a lot of space to do fronts or blinds.
As for the color of poles, you can always bring up concerns to judges, but I think they’re unlikely to make changes unless they agree that it is unsafe or unfair.
