Any way to extend the course for a little while?
Yes – I will send you the link!
I will be getting my new puppy in about a month. While training the tug but before we have a “true” tug I plan to use his kibble as a reward for the beginning basics of groundwork. Will that be a problem and cause to strong an association between his food and work. My hope is when he has a strong tug game that will take over.
I think that should be fine. I tend not to mix tug and treats in the same session until I feel the dog has good tug drive. But I think you can use food for some sessions, play for other sessions.
