I have three dogs under 2 yrs. I am so glad you offered this class because my 4 1/2 month old pup is showing a lot more toy drive than her sisters. I use the toy on line every evening when we go out for their run. She loves to tug and I’ve been scared I would teach and discourage her from enjoying it. I’ve gained so many useful tips so I can get away from just using food as the reward.

I can see so many benefits of being able to tug as a reward. The people I train with don’t encourage it because of the venue they show in, so my two older pups have only been rewarded with food which has caused some huge issues with my oldest pup and created a food drive only middle pup with not the zip/drive she is capable of. I am now hopeful that I can get both dogs over some of those challenges. With the rule changes for FOE and Fix & Go classes the tug creates a huge opportunity for me and there are AKC shows within a 3 1/2 hour drive.

I am so excited! Thank you.

I’m glad you’re getting a lot from this class! Be sure to let me know if you have any questions. I think FEO will change the way we (the community as a whole) train our dogs, in a good way.
