should the bar be set at regular height or lower?
It doesn’t really matter. I want it to be about the dogs understanding of the verbal and not the physical jumping effort at this point. If the bar is full height and your dog responds to the correct verbal but hits the bar, what are you doing to do? The lower bar minimizes the risk of that happening. I tend to keep bars low when the dogs is using a lot of brain power 😉
