I know we visited this a few months ago. I want to make sure I still should do grids at full height (3 1/2 feet apart) and jump offering to help Nimbus’s early take offs. I haven’t been keeping up with the grids since we started showing. He usually has 2 or 3 early take offs in the show ring, no knocked bars.

Here is a training session showing some early take offs. I believe he knocked the bar in this session because of an early take off?

Here he is doing the grids at a low height.

Hi. I need some help lol my dog is barely 19” but her legs are short (Aussie). I’m trying to decide if she needs to be in performance (jumping 14”) vs championship (jumping 20”)
Here are her videos jumping 16” 20” and even 22” (her uki height)

She had her first trial this past weekend and dropped bars at least one in each class. She was jumping 20” Thoughts?

Hi Dr. Leslie, in Ziggy’s jump analysis his takeoff was late and the arc was slightly past the bar. What do you recommend? Thx

    • Coach Leslie says:

Go through the video review again. If I didn’t make a specific recommendation you should work through all the exercises. For late take off we might end up focusing on the Height Grid more than others, but all the exercises will help.
