I can’t get the form on this page to work to suggest a topic. I would like to learn how to use the right and left circles taught in the courses to extend to the course. Right now it feels like I have a cute party trick. Not sure how to incorporate this training into moving on a course.
I will look into the form, and I’ll discuss this with Jenn and see what we have that might address that or what we might add.
I fixed the submission error. I’ve asked Jenn to weigh in on the left and right.
I don’t want to speak for every instructor out there but for me “left” and “right” spins that I teach on the flat are only used for crosses on the flat on courses. I do not use them at an obstacle. That means that I don’t use them very often. It is not a skills that I think every teams needs but it is a skill that can come in handy if you have it.
So yea, it is kind of a party trial for the most part. I use it a lot for warm ups too. And for proofing my verbals. But on course, I don’t use it that often.
