Two suggestions: 1) Start adding something like “readyyyyy, steadyyyy” to the routine as you hold the chest so the dog really explodes forward and those words become cues for bursting forwarding. 2) When you run away, make it clear which side you want the dog to come to. I think your dog cut behind you, but even I wasn’t sure which side you wanted or if you cared 🙂
