Two Jump Drills |

Debating on training two verbal wrap cues that mean absolute directions (versus just one verbal wrap cue that would mean wrap towards the side I’m on). I currently have turning cues over jumps that are dependent on my body position and are not absolute left or right turns (jump and turn towards the side I’m on, jump and turn away from the side I’m on). I can see where a wrap cue (turn tight over that jump and accelerate back towards me) will be a useful addition to my communication system. But I’m not sure I really need two different wrap cues, and I think some of my turning cues being dependent on my body position and others being absolute left and right would be confusing. Thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
I think this falls into the “if it ain’t broke” category. I always advise people to evaluate what kinds of courses they are running and whether their current number of cues is sufficient for getting around those courses.
In other words, do you often find yourself in a position where you’re like “I could have done that course if only I had two different absolute wrap cues!”. If NOT, then I don’t think you need them!
