It’s important to consider tunnel bag colors too! I never thought my dog paid any attention to them until we went to a tunnel seminar doing the 180 degree entries. He went past the tunnel bag with the most contrast, turned and slammed into the side of the tunnel, apparently expecting the entry. Luckily, it didn’t upset him, but it was amazing to learn what he was thinking!
YES – that has happened to us. I think there’s a video somewhere in the academy or even BDA, but I couldn’t find it with a quick search.
I just ordered a red tunnel from NTI. Would that be a more neutral color? I did not want blue because I thought it may be too dark nor did I want yellow because it’s too bright.
Yes. I agree that red is likely to be kind of in between in terms of darkness.
