Can you edit on a Mac laptop? or is it easier on the tablet?
I prefer to edit on my taping devise. The reason is that it reduces the number of steps needed. Also, my raw video may be pretty long and take some time to transfer to my computer. But after it’s edited, it’s much shorter and so any transferring happens more quickly.
Why don’t you just video using the iPad?
I find the phone so much easier to set up. We usually just leave a small phone tripod attached to a ladder outside. So I just walk out, pop my phone in, and hit record!
iPad requires a stronger tripod and it a little more unwieldy to set up.
But, often, if there are two of us and one of us is a video taper, then we will record directly on the ipad.
