Should have watched this before my prior comment!
no worries!
I only have a work computer that is MicroSoft and I am not allowed administrative rights to down load this application. I will stick to my ipad and iphone until I can purchase my MacBook. I hope to purchase it this fall depending on what happens with covid-19 and my job
I actually prefer editing on the iPhone or iPad. I included this lesson for people who only have access to a PC machine.
If you end up with a MacBook, you’ll likely use iMovie there as well. Though I don’t know how much iMovie differs from laptop to tablet.
Not sure if this the right place for this, but here it goes. I do all my editing using my laptop with Windows 10. My initial taping is done with a Cannon video recorder. I use a Windows based video editing program to delete everything that is irrelevant to my actual run. I then import that into my Coach’s Eye, review the file, zoom and pan as desired and then save. When I open the Coach’s Eye video I find that there is no audio. I do have audio when viewing the the imported file, it is only the file saved by Coach’s Eye that doesn’t have audio. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
Second item. Looking at your videos it appears that you are able to add and remove the boxes, circles, lines and arrows as you please. How do you do that? When I add one of those elements it becomes a permanent part of the video and I am unable to remove it.
For those using Android phones, it is possible to edit videos on the phone using Google Photos, similar to the way it is done on the Iphone. A quick search on the internet will bring up instructions and YouTube videos describing the process.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll see about adding a video on that.
I use the Movie Maker app on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I could use my phone but I like working on the larger screen of the tablet.
