Generally, dogs need short sessions. Most often shorter than we give them. So working multiple dogs can actually help you create more effective sessions for all your dogs by having them take turns and therefore have smaller sessions. When I train, I generally train all my dogs by having them take turns. Either on the same skill/exercise, or working each on their own thing. I might even give each dog two sessions (with a break in between while I work another dog).
I personally prefer to put the non-working dog away so they can somewhat relax.
I love this course so much! Do you guys have any suggestions for working multiple dogs?
