Zinc loves his toys, but he also loves weaving!
perfect! We want both!
After running over the ball, as I was setting up with the next toy, Surf weaved all the way back to retrieve the ball. I think she would’ve completed the weaves with it in her mouth if I hadn’t gotten in the way. 😆
Lol. Funny puppy!!
Does it matter how many weaves poles we use – 6 or 12 – throughout the challenges?
You can do 6 or 12. You can also use slightly offset if you need to. The work and the progress is what’s most important!
Oops. I had added my video on the Facebook group page on April 11th. I didn’t realize I needed to complete this form with a link to the video. Here you go.
No problem! fb group is great for community. But the online form lets us track everything automatically 🙂
I had to start with a lower value toy, but in fairly short order, Cimer managed to do the exercises with her favorite ball. I’m proud of my toy-obsessed little girlie.
Great work! That’s a perfect progression, lower value to higher. And you got to see it in action! What your dog couldn’t do before, now she can!
Entry submitted. My toy was a little difficult to see in the grass, so my video includes me placing the toy prior to each exercise. If it ever dries out, I will be able to mow the grass again!😆
Great work!
Thank you!
I had fun with this. I practiced a little first. My older collie got distracted with the toys initially but then later went out again and she was great. I did put two toys in the path of weaving after videoing 1.3. Not even a flinch to look at them!!!
Awesome!! That initial distraction is why we need to revisit these challenges on occasion with our dogs!
