Where can I get a Paw disc?
https://www.thetotalcanine.com/store/p35/LTCF_Paw_Disc.html
Would you be able to ship one of the paw discs to me in New Zealand?
I can look into shipping if you email me your address.
You may also want to check with Annie Thorne of Your Whole Dog in Wellington.
thank you! Annie has everything, so I will get it from her.
Perfect! Tell her I sent you 😉
And please remind me, more air = easier than less air????
Sandy, I just watched the intro video on this section and Dr. E addressed your question. Less air = easier. More air results in a rounder surface resulting in more rocking thus more difficulty.
Thanks Carol – I must have missed that because after I listened to it I still had that question, although I was SO tired last night when I listened……lol!
Correct. In the lower level equipment more air makes it more difficult. Where it gets confusing is the bigger products like the peanut and donut. Both of those have an ideal inflation range (80-90%) and really should only be used in that range. But I actually don’t use those pieces a lot.
I have a dumb question…I ordered a giant fitbone for my ~60 # goldens. I think it needs air and I’ve used the little pump that comes with it. Does it take a fair amount of pumping? I may not have done it enough because I haven’t seen any change. I guess the question is, are there any hints to know about inflating? Thanks!
Yes, it can take a lot of pumping with the little pump. Also make sure you’ve jabbed the needle all the way into the fitbone. The giant fitbone is always going to be more unstable than the smaller fitbones because the sidewalls aren’t reinforced. It’s hard to find a balance of not too under inflated and not overinflated.
Leslie – This sounds like an exciting month jam packed full of stuff! I know I asked you this question before but I never wrote it down and now I would have to go back through a zillion comments to figure out where your answer was… can you give me the link again for the pink paw discs????
https://www.thetotalcanine.com/store/p35/LTCF_Paw_Disc.html
Thanks for the link……..ideally should I have 2????
My dogs need two to stand across for Bridge. There’s a lot you can do with just one but two is always more fun.
If I ordered the paw disks directly from you can I pay you with PayPal?
I just answered my own question about paying with PayPal ( By looking on your website ordering link) and I just ordered 2 paw disks yea can’t wait!
Awesome!
