When my older lab Stella was rehabbing (years ago) from elbow surgery, part of her routine once she healed from the surgery was digging! The facility where we went for water treadmill also had a GIANT sandbox………..OMG she LOVED it!
In the summer, Karma digs in the baby pool…..when the hose is on and laying in the baby pool, she digs nonstop at the water shooting out of the hose………………does that count????? Or does it need to be sand????
Digging in the water is great. I would do that and the digging at a towel exercise for when you can’t use the pool.
So it was finally warm enough (hot actually) to get out the baby pool and watch Karma go! I hope her form is satisfactory because there’s no stopping her once she gets started…lol
