Here is a video with a few exercises so I can get your feedback on form. I have noticed a couple things: sometimes when she sits, her back legs are wide. When I see that happen, should I just re-set her? Sitting on a disk is new for her so I didn’t have her stay there very long. Also she tends to move her front feet when we are doing some of the flex exercises. When I see that I use a target. I also wonder if that means she needs less movement for the exercise?

Hi Janet,
I would reset her if her legs are wide in the sit. You may need a platform to help her understand. If it’s happening on the inflatable equipment, I want you to add some traction to the equipment. If there are more ridges on one side than the other use that side. If it doesn’t have it put a yoga mat or bath towel over the equipment.
For the flex exercises do you mean Back Bend or Sit Bend or something else? It’s okay for the front paws to move in those exercises, but because they are stretching exercises your dog may not be as flexible at the beginning and get better as she gets more flexible like learning to do the splits.
The exercises you posted look pretty good. I think you can increase the height of the rear paw target for the shoulder push ups.
thank you, I will add traction to the disk. I did mean mainly the Back Bend on the flex exercises, thank you for the comment. The equipment I used for the shoulder push up is the highest equipment that I have that is stable enough for that exercise. I do notice in your videos that you have taller stable equipment – can you advise me on where I can find something for more height?
I’ll either stock my Catos or you could do a Klimb without legs. You can also find some thing to put under the Cato. It can be as simple as just some wood planks underneath it. Or if you wanted to add a little bit of instability, you could put it on top of a couch cushion.
