Is there a link or video for the Paws Up 3 legged stand? It looks to be the only one not linked. Thanks!
There is not a video for this one. It’s a combination of Paws Up and Individual leg lift or target. When in the Paws Up position either pick up a front leg or ask the dog to hold their leg up (like a wave or shake). Alternate front legs.
First time here 😊 How do you work this plan? Do you do all those exercises for the week each training session, or just some of them? And how many times a week do you do a training session? Thanks!
There are sets of exercises each week. So the PDF lays out the monthly training, 4 weeks, 3 workouts a week.
The links are added just as a convenience so that if you’re not familiar with a particular exercise, you know where to find it.
Here’s an introduction to workouts: https://baddogagilityacademy.com/introduction-to-workouts/
I’ll be sure to email that out to everyone as well.
Good Morning! Ive just joined CF and I am excited about learning more. Psychic, my 10 yr old Border Collie, had a posas injury a year ago. I took him to a Great Specialist several states away and he is been cleared to run again. Psychic is very enthusiastic and gives every ounce of energy to running agility because he loves it so much! Even though he earned his MACH, his rear has never been super strong so I’m looking for some specific exercises to help strengthen it. I’m going to start with the exercises you have provided but also wanted some exercises to help strengthen his rear. Thank you!
I’m sure Dr Eide will have direction for you, but here’s the “list” of exercises:

For rear, probably these?

Welcome!
I recommend going through the year 1 program. The names should help guide you towards the target exercises you want. What comes to mind are the iliopsoas exercises, rear limb strength, and the jumping exercises. That being said, I try to balance all the workout to be appropriate for what we want in agility so you’ll see they are a bit more concentrated on core and rear limb strength overall.
